We went to the Bees Game Friday night! Pictures below.
Spent WAY too much on food. Two hot dogs, nachos, two LARGE Dippin' Dots, large drink came to about . . . $37 buckaroos. WOW! All in the name of good ol' family time right?

New Shoes
We are going on our Annual Mace Family Campout this weekend. Now, in everyday life Camden does just fine without shoes, but I realized yesterday that he may want some while we're camping. None that we have fit him anymore, so I bought some. He didn't come with me to the store, I knew his biggest too small shoes were 8's, so naturally I bought 9's. BUT holy smokes did they look huge. I bought three pair, figured we could see which ones fit and which ones he liked (if he had any preference).
And which do you think he chose? We tried all of them on. They were all pretty dang cute. And he went with the ones which fit the worst.
The DC's. This is Chris' child.
I think the brown ones might be best, and I'll probably hang onto them just in case he realizes that the DC's are a little clowny and big, but he told me multiple times how much he likes the ones he chose. I asked if he liked the way they fit or the way they looked. He said he liked the way they fit.
Really, he'll wear them this weekend and then probably not again until it gets cold outside so a little big might be a fine way to go. Right experienced children shoe buyers? I need reassurance that I shouldn't run them back to Ross before Cam knows what happened and he'll be stuck with the brown ones.

Elder Hart
Hard to believe it, but Braiden is home! His homecoming yesterday was a beautiful lesson on Pioneers and it is always good to have an excuse to get family together.
I almost forgot to get an "after" picture. Camden saw Braiden on Wednesday when he got home, but was a little wary of him. At the homecoming celebration though he remembered what a fun cousin Braiden is and kept wanting more. When we were leaving Aunt Jenn's, Camden said, "But I want . . . I want . . . I want that guy to come to Grandma's with us." I tried to explain that Braiden was probably tired and needed a rest, which lead to Camden also feeling like he needed a rest so we laid down for a while at Grandma's. (Thanks for that one Braiden!) I'm guessing Family camp this weekend is going to be filled with LOTS of time spent with Braiden. Welcome home cuz.

We are so thankful to have had such a cute, fun friend so close to us for the past few years.

BFF Spotting
There I was at the Saturday Matinee Performance of Recital 2012, just chatting with my cousin when I saw a pretty prego girl. I started thinking about how I don't ever look cute (like trendy cute, this ain't no pity party) pregnant, but this girl did. White summery dress, pink cardigan and black bow above the belly, pretty blonde hair . . . WAIT? That is my best friend! Who is due the same day as me! HOLY SMOKES!
And yes it was, the one and only Meredith Wahlstrom Wright. How fun. :)

Gugsie
Couldn't do a Kelsey post without a Gug post. :)
Gug and Pauline went with us to Jensen Park today. It was super duper fun, we saw lots of ducks and sa-weet HUGE pelicans! We also saw some nasty boys chase a mother duck away from her 4 eggs (pray she comes back soon!) and a seagull's wing get caught in a fishing hook and get reeled in. Never a dull moment.
It has been fun having Erica to talk to about womanly/motherly/baby stuff now that she is a mom. And when she is up in K-town from Provo she is always up for doing something, being out and about, and I love that she just comes over to our house to get something going. She is soft spoken, kind and loving. More like Mom every day. :)
