Day with Clark

Last Wednesday the Champions League Final was on ESPN 360, which is obviously a huge deal for Chris and Clark. Man U against Barcelona? Hello? Anyway, I joined in for the partay! ESPN 360 is something that Chris gets on our computer, and he started to get worried about all three of us watching the game on such a small screen. Tuesday night Chris had a dream about where he could get a projector. The dream turned out to be a vision sent from the heavens, because the next morning he got a projector and Mac hookup from the one and only Mark Robinette. Hallelujah! I went walking with my friend Wednesday morning and when I came back about an hour later he had rigged up the whole system. He had pinned a sheet over the closet, brought the tv in for better sound, and arranged the couches for optimal viewing. The room was ready. I went to work, he went to play soccer, he came back and picked me up a few hours later, we picked up Quizno's (Clark asked specifically for this, and yes his tab with us continues to climb exponentially). We had a wonderful party.

Chris (proudly shaven) and Clark chowing down.

My best attempts to show the setup of the room.

And now for the rest of the story . . .

The game ended around 5:30. Shortly after that Clark fell asleep on the floor. Chris went to mutual at 5:40 (Clark is still asleep), I went to teach at 6:45 (Clark is still asleep). Chris came home around 9:15pm and I got home around 9:30. What do we find still on our computer room floor? CLARK SLEEPING?!?!? So, we begin our usual nightly routine watching King of Queens and eating cereal. Clark eventually came alive a little before 10:00 pm. As you can see from the picture below, he looked awesome. His hair was a bit crazier than you can see from the picture, but my favorite part is the sleepy eyes. He hung out with us for awhile, which was fun, but he had a gargantuan amount of homework to do for the next morning. I became assertive and told him he needed to go home (he was still in the mood to party considering he had just slept for about 4 hours). He tried to do some of his homework at our house, but he didn't have his book. He had a HUGE bowl of my Reese's Puffs cereal, while we watched Seinfeld and Simpsons (continuation of our nightly routine), and then left somewhat sulkily. During our TV watching he discovered my Snuggie and loved it!

The Snuggie

For Mother's Day Chris bought me a Snuggie! I love it. I actually haven't used it yet, but I love that he thought to get it for me.

Also I think it is a good maternity item, because you can't even tell how big my stomach is!

Graduation

It was fun to see some old friends and feel all nostalgic during the ceremony. It was fun to have family there to support us. It was fun to have some closure. It was fun to remember all the days I spent on campus. It was fun to remember getting through all the stressful times that school brought. It was fun looking back on my 3.5 years with happy feelings. It was fun to appreciate all that my teachers and other students taught me.

Chris and I both graduated with Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. Technically, I graduated in December and Chris graduated in May, but we walked together.

6 months

I am learning that the name of the game while pregnant, is to not look pregnant. This is becoming increasingly more difficult for me lately. However, in spite of that goal, I thought some of you might enjoy a snapshot of our growing child, Camden. I will actually be 24 weeks on Thursday.
