November almost gone.
Yes, it is true. Mom and Erica both broke their fingers. Erica broke hers Monday playing football (the same way she broke her clavicle) and my mother broke hers running up the stairs. SAD, but awesome at the same time.

Weightlifting
For those of you who did not know, I am planning on competing in weightlifting in the Utah Summer Games in June. I made a little video in case you were curious what that is. Weightlifting consists of 2 lifts: the snatch and the clean & jerk. In the snatch you bring the weight from the floor to overhead in one move (the first clip in the video is a snatch). In the clean & jerk, the clean is when you bring the weight from the ground to the shoulders and the jerk is taking it from the shoulders to overhead (the second and third clips are a clean and a jerk, respectively). My technique isn't great and I'm not an extremely strong person but I love it and it gives me something to train for and work toward. I may post another video when I get some really good clips, probably closer to the competition. Hopefully I'll be much better by then. The other clips are some different ancillary lifts and some misses as well. The song is by Emery and it’s called Walls. You probably won’t like the screaming. Enjoy.

Denver Zoo
When we were in Denver a few weeks ago, we went to the Denver Zoo. These were the cutest little baby animals. This first video is of an energetic baby giraffe.
This is a video of red pandas, or "firefox" is their nickname. It's kind of long, but they are so cute and little. It was surprisingly how gingerly they moved around on the rock, because we are used to seeing the adults who are so agile and quick.
