Typical

10:00pm - Camden asleep.

10:00pm - 10:45pm Marianne does homework.

10:45pm - Camden wakes up because there is not a warm body next to him.  I set my books aside, and go lay with him until he falls back asleep.

11:00pm - Camden asleep.

11:00pm - 11:30pm Marianne does homework.

11:30pm - Camden wakes up because there is not a warm body next to him.  I set my books aside, and go lay with him until he falls back asleep.

11:45pm - Camden asleep.

11:45 - 12:00am - Marianne finishes homework (finally), brushes, flosses, pharmafluores (sp?), blogs and goes to sleep.

This is why I typically don't do homework.

It sucks but it sounds like it is time to do sleep training so he will learn to sleep on his own. I didn't with Patrick and he just barly started sleeping through the night, most of the time, and he is almost 4. How to Solve Your Childs Sleep Problems by Richard Gerber (I think it is Richard). I have also tried the Supper Nanny sleep seperation techniue because we liked it better. But I think it is for toddlers like Camdens age and not babies that are nursing like Caleb. I tried that for a week and the first night was hard and then I realized that I still have the middle of the night that is a problem, cause I nurse and because he sleeps in our room still. So now I am going back to doing the Richard Gerber approach and finding more success. If nothing more it will tell you alot about kids sleep cycles and I found that interesting. Good luck. The first 2 or 3 days will be hard but will be worth it. I would look into both and go with what feels right to you.

Where's Chris? We just recently got Logan into the routine of sleeping alone. I've noticed that he/we all sleep so much better now. I know he sleeps deeper and he went from waking up every couple of hours wanting to nurse back to sleep to sleeping from 9:00pm to 7:30 am. It's awesome!!! So I don't know if you even plan on trying to get him to sleep alone but it's definitely something to consider. Good luck!

I don't know if I am allowed to comment on your school blog? So I am playing it safe. Bless you, and your impeccable memory. YOU MADE MY DAY and quite possibly my week by bringing up our fabulous 4th grade memories.

I have thought about Orbitz from time to time and I will have you know that NO one knows what they are. When I describe the drink...people seem shocked and offended. But...I remember them being divine.

I like Adrienne too. Something you should know about her: She can be talked into just about anything. Tell your friends. You guys need to capitalize on that.

PS
You have a really cute kid.
