Having Camden "pull your hair" while he is tired is the ultimate comfort level, which Kelsey received on this day. We just love playing with Aunt Tse-Tsy.
Kelsey has taught Cam:
how to bead, and put wads of clay through the ringer
how to "PART-AY!"
how to love Iron Man and fly like him
It was hilarious yesterday to hear Camden yelling to Kelsey while she was in the bathroom. "TSE-TSY?!?!? WHY ARE YOU IN THE BATHROOM? TSE-TSY!"
And often throughout the house you just hear Camden yell, "TSE-TSY!"

Animal Days
The Kaysville USU Extension/Utah House/Farmer's Market people put on a Baby Animals Day on 50 West in K-town. When Cam fell asleep in the car on the way there I thought "Oh well", but then he woke up and we were all really glad we could go.
Mom bought Camden a ticket to ride the train. Coincidentally, he was the only one on this specific run. I wasn't sure how much he'd like that, but when he came around close to me he yelled, "Mom! I'm riding Casey Jr!"
When the chick flew out of his hands, he picked it up and put it back in the box "with his brothers."
And, wonder of wonders miracle of miracles, some sprinklers were going on the way home. Cam loved running through them and getting soaked.

Talking to CJ!
As you may be able to imagine, the highlight of our Mother's Day (close tie to Robinette's Party) was talking to Clark (Elder C in Mexico) on Mother's Day. It was the 18th Miracle that it all worked out, between all fitting in one car, to catching Chris on his break from work, but it did! It is sad because the phone often cuts out so we can't hear very well. Half of our 30 minutes to talk is spent saying, "WHAT?" or "I can't hear you." or "Say that again, slower." and it gives us a little taste of the real live Clark, but it just makes me yearn for more of the real thing. Bittersweet.
Dad has question prepared before hand. |
Mom's just so dang happy to be with everyone. |
The boys at the water hole. |
Clark wanted to speak Spanish, Spanish and MORE Spanish! |
Always have to take a pic of myself. Does this have a Wahlstrom quality to it? |
Paul. So dang good all the time. |
The sistas took the last 10 minutes with CJ. |
Cam sang, "Casey Jr." for Clark. |

Play Days
It has been so fun to have scheduled play times for some same-aged kiddos in our neighborhood. As you can see, Chris is the center of attention (as always) and it is SO nice having Chris home in the morning to help keep the peace.
I made a fun finger paint recipe out of sugar, salt, water, and cornstarch and they liked it pretty well. It is cute because they all have their colors, that the picked for finger paints and plates/cups.

Camden is a little bit on the defense during these playtimes. |
